Chew On This: The week where we crash Amazon Prime and figure out what we're actually made of.
Welcome back to another week.
We did it. we’re on Amazon Prime.
It’s official. We made it onto Amazon with the Prime badge.
We kept pushing, figured it out, and here we are.
If you’ve been following since the beginning, this hits different.
Next stop: wherever you shop IRL. Go find us on Amazon for now...
Marie at MIT
Marie gave a fireside at MIT, gave away GloGlos, and went out with the AI club.
What a day.
On purpose... from marie
Marie was 22, interning at a bank, and instead of eating alone she started knocking on doors and asking people to lunch.
That habit turned into her first company. The product was technically a matching algorithm, but what it actually did was give people energy.
Talking and meeting new people.
She is always high-fiving people in the morning, and getting excited about other people’s wins.
She told us the other day: my passion is giving other people energy. Through events, purpose, presence, and now physical gummies.
Your purpose is the thing you keep doing on accident.
The time michael hit the front page of the NYT and then watched it die in five days
Michael posted about this one and it’s too good not to share here.
Back in 2010, he built a keyboard replacement for smartphones.
Built it in a month, got a patent, sent it to a few journalists the night before launch.
The head of tech at the New York Times called him directly. By morning: front page of the NYT, front page of Reddit, all over Wired. The launch video hit a million views in twelve hours. He made around $100k in a week.
Then patent trolls showed up and he had to pull it.
Fifteen years later, people still write to him asking where the app went.
Michael’s meme of the week
“I’m thrilled, honored, blessed, shaken, stirred, enjoyed responsibly, stored in a cool dry place, kept away from direct sunlight, refrigerated after opening, best by 12/2027, batteries not included, some assembly required, results may vary, void where prohibited, see store for details, while supplies last, terms and conditions apply, certified pre-owned, dishwasher safe, contains nuts, grass fed, flagged for review, currently in beta, signature required, and happy to announce”
Accurate representation of every LinkedIn announcement post ever written.
Want free gummies?
Hit us up. We might send some.
Until next time: do something this week that future you will thank you for. 🧡
